Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Reva Labs, an Ontario-registered business (“Reva Labs,” “Worktable,” “we,” or “us”), handles personal information for worktable.dev, the Worktable documentation and downloads, and local or self-hosted Worktable.
Worktable is local-first. Your local workspace is a folder you own, and a self-hosted workspace stays on infrastructure you choose. Worktable does not send workspace content to Reva Labs during ordinary local or self-hosted operation.
Worktable Cloud is a separate hosted service. Its account, billing, workspace, and retention practices are described in the Worktable Cloud Privacy Policy.
Information we receive
Website, documentation, and downloads
When you visit a Worktable website, read the documentation, check for an update, run the installer, or download a release, the systems serving that request may receive an IP address, browser or client type, requested URL, referring page, timestamp, response status, and similar security and delivery metadata.
worktable.dev redirects documentation requests to docs.worktable.dev and release downloads to Worktable’s public GitHub repository. Those services receive the requests made to them.
Support, legal, and security messages
We receive the information you choose to send by email, through a GitHub issue or private vulnerability report, or through another support channel. This may include your contact information, Worktable version and platform, diagnostic details, and the content of your message.
Local and self-hosted operation
Local Worktable does not require a Reva Labs account. Workspace files, local settings, owner credentials, agent tokens, and local service logs stay on your machine or the infrastructure you operate unless you deliberately send them to us.
How we use information
We use information we actually receive only as needed to:
- deliver the website, documentation, installer, and releases;
- protect those services and investigate abuse or failures;
- respond to support, legal, privacy, and security messages;
- maintain compatibility and understand failed downloads; and
- comply with law and enforce the applicable product terms.
Reva Labs does not use customer content or personal information to train models. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising or ad targeting.
Agents and services you choose
Worktable connects to agents and applications you choose. Those tools may read or change workspace content within the permissions you grant. Their providers process information under their own terms, not this Policy.
If you expose a self-hosted Worktable service, place its files in a repository, configure a backup, or connect other infrastructure, you decide where that information goes and are responsible for the services you choose.
Service providers
We use a small set of providers for the public distribution path:
- Vercel hosts the Worktable product and documentation websites. Privacy notice.
- GitHub hosts public releases, the installer source, documentation, issues, and private vulnerability reporting. Privacy statement.
- Our email and domain providers route messages and protect public domains only for the services they perform.
These providers may process requests outside Canada, including in the United States, where information may be subject to local law. Reva Labs does not send local or self-hosted workspace content to them through ordinary product operation. Information you deliberately send to GitHub or another service is also governed by that provider’s terms.
Your choices and contact
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, raise a privacy complaint, or ask how information has been used or disclosed. Email legal@worktable.dev. We may need to verify your identity and aim to respond within 30 calendar days.
Worktable’s public sites and downloadable software are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through these surfaces.
We may update this Policy as Worktable or our public distribution path changes. We will post the revised Policy here and update the dates above.
